Starting 4-5 in the A-10 isn't great, but considering they opened with losses to Loyola, George Mason, and La Salle and have won four of six, it isn't the worst thing in the world. In their loss to the Dukes, they were led by Tyler Cochran, who had 18 points and seven rebounds. Rhode Island shot just 39% from the field and they were outrebounded by 11, while allowing Duquesne to shoot 44% from the three-point line (12 of 27).

The Rams have been playing without leading scorer Jonah Hinton, who has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury. Hinton (14.1 ppg, 38.2% 3pt) is listed as questionable for this game. If he can't go, they need Cochran (13.4 ppg, 5.3  rpg) and Jahmere Tripp (12.2 ppg) to step up.
